Depending on the study selected in your plan or IO there are certain follow-ups needed in order to get the necessary data for a successful study setup.
Brand Lift Study: Client Approval on Brand Script
Due to the one-to-many nature of out-of-home media, control groups are usually recruited one week prior to campaign launch in order to get a clean baseline read. Client approval is needed on a brand script a minimum of 5 business days before a campaign launches to ensure recruitment.
The standard brand script can be found here. Client input is needed on:
1) The confirmed name of the brand / product / service to be advertised
2) The category of the brand / product / service
3) The competitive set to include in the questions
Once the client approves the script, work will begin with Vistar’s mobile panel partner to recruit a control group and prepare for exposed recruitment after the campaign launches.
Foot Traffic Study: Client Confirmation on Store Location List
In order to conduct a foot traffic study, client confirmation is needed on the list of store locations to track.This list of store locations should generally come directly from the client in order to have the most accurate information possible. Please use this template to submit the list of store locations to include in the foot traffic study. Client confirmation is needed on the store location list 3 business days before the campaign launches.
If the client does not have the list of store locations available, Vistar can purchase the information from our POI data provider. Given the additional time it would take to confirm availability and transfer data, please allow for one more week - a total of 8 business days before a campaign launches to obtain the store location list.
